values the importance of connection and time for pause
Meet Karen
Hello to you!
I look forward to coaching with you. But before we meet, here’s a little about me…
One of my great delights in life is conversation, listening and connecting with people.
Some time ago, I began my career working as a change management professional, helping individuals cope with change at work through better communication. I was fortunate to work across many different industries, from finance to healthcare and manufacturing, in both Sydney and London.
After starting our family and relocating to California, I found my desire to help others with change in life grew even stronger, and I became certified as a life coach with the Life Purpose Institute (lifepurposeinstitute.com)
I also discovered real nourishment in Ignatian spirituality and I work part time at Jesuit and Ignatian Spirituality Australia (JISA.org.au) .
I enjoy coaching individuals who want to discover more about themselves, or who need help navigating a new season of life. I also have experience in conversations of a spiritual nature, having trained in prayer ministry.
Mostly though, my greatest joy as a life coach is in offering people a safe space to be heard.
And to share a space that offers retreat from the outside world.
A space to feel and think in peace, or rest.
Time in quiet reflection and listening to our deep desires, is an important part of balance in our over-scheduled lives, and a practice that we often neglect.
While many of us focus on our wellbeing through exercise, good eating and socialising (which is all great!), not many focus on what is happening in our hearts, and carving out silence to tune in to our deepest desires.
If you feel drawn to some conversation around change, or just want to practice inner listening and enjoy a break from being busy, let’s meet and see where the conversation leads…
With joy,
Karen
PS. In my quiet time, I enjoy writing, resting in God and beach time with my husband, three children and dog, Monty.

Time to Pause
It’s a fine spring day and the sun is gentle.
Imagine yourself sitting beside these lotus.
What do you notice about them?…
How does the breeze feel on your face?….
What comes to mind as you watch them flutter?….
Do you wish to respond?…. Journal what comes to mind and heart…
